View Full Version : My very own top 10
My top 10 are a bit odd, but if you really think about it, you'll see that these are the only movies that can ever be on any top 10 list.:p
1) Silence of the Lambs
2) Dumb and Dumber
3) Fight Club
4) Three O'Clock High
5) A History of Violence
6) Groundhog Day
7) From Dusk till Dawn
8) Speed
9) Snatch
10) In the Company of Men
If I had more room, I would also add Heat, Blair Witch Project, Shawshank Redemption, and The Fly.
Awesome.

ehhh, decent. I wouldn't have those movies in my top ten, but here's how I would rearrange your list.
1. Heat
2. Shawshank Redemption
3. Silence of the Lambs
4. Fight Club
5. Speed
6. Groundhog Day
7. Blair Witch Project
8. Dumb and Dumber
9. The Fly
10. From Dusk Till Dawn
I would leave out Three O'Clock High
Still haven't seen A History of Violence, though I heard it's good
Haven't seen In the Company of Men
What is Snatch doing in there? Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels was better and Guy Ritchie hasn't been able to live up to that fluke since.
Three O'Clock High is one of the best films ever. I can watch that movie over and over again. It's basically Ferris Bueller meets Risky Business, plus some violence.
As far as Lock Stock being better than Snatch, I'm not sure about that. Snatch is so quotable, plus all the great actors, makes it a very memorable movie.
I like other movies, like Godfather and all the other popular ones, but the ones I have listed really stand out.

well, that's the problem with Three O'Clock High. It's basically Ferris Bueller meets Risky Business. I'll take those movies over Three O'Clock High any day. But I did like the violence.

I liked this movie called Rain Man starring Dustin Hoffman and Cruise. Also Gladiator and The beautiful mind also tops my list.
