2 of Jim Carreys movie projects have been caned!
One is Used Guys, the budget was too big.....
And Ripleys Believe it or Not... I heard that someone else will play him or there will be nothing....
However, The Number 23 is to be released in February...
he also has a new movie which he will start filming next month... Cameron Diaz will be his counterpart =) =) =) =) =)

Believe it or Not is now back on track. There were issues with funding, but apparently everything is resolved. This article explains more.

I liked him better back in his stand-up comedy days. Success didn't improve him, IMO, and his work is very uneven. Sometimes he's really good and sometimes he just sucks. I did love "Bruce Almighty" though.

You are talking about a masterpiece. I liked all of his movies. His expressions are so funny and he is able to produce such funny and creepy noises. I liked Liar Liar very much for the concept.

I'm not really that much of a Jim Carrey fan, but my husband is. He absolutely loved Bruce Almighty. I thought it was irreverent and couldn't sit through it. My husband told me to lighten up.

The one character Carrey could have skipped playing was the Riddler in whichever Batman movie he was in. Let's face it, if you're going to run around in a green spandex body suit, you'd probably want to work out a little first. ;)

I enjoy this actors work and I give him credit for not being afraid to try new projects. I think he's amazingly talented and I find it inspiring that he came from such humble beginnings that he's been very public about.

Great actor but perhaps a little to great??? My best friend was in Bruce Almighty with Carrey. No not a large role, if i mention it you would not remember if you saw her. During filming she actually had an entire scene with him with lines. It took them 4 days to do the scene because he kept improvising during every take and each was so different it was like a whole new scene. In the end her scene was cut and so were her lines...as for him and his honesty about his humble beginnings its sort of an act. Success seems to have spoiled his take on life. Apart from the scene my friend told me he refused to speak to her or anyone else who just wasn't important enough in his eyes. Hearing this made me sad since I did like him so much for working so hard to get where he is.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! is a curious format, sort of a 'Guiness Book of Records'- like magazine on TV. It has no permanent cast or storyline, just a presenting host in the castle-type LA residence who occasionally shows curiosities from 'Ripley's vault' there, but usually simply introduces the topics shown in the various, rather short film sequences shot all over the world, in addition to which some weird facts (e.g. absurd laws) can be quickly reviewed.
