I checked out Gridiron Gang at http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=24 and I think that... What the FUCK? I thought I just seen this movie with ADAM SANDLER!?!!? Wasn't it called "The Longest Yard"? How many football movies will they come out with that have a crappy team or a crappy player, and here's the clincher... They get better and WIN!! WOO Fing HOO!! Come out with something interesting Hollywood.

I've been saying the same thing, but people love inspirational stories, and that is why we will see more movies like this. If you're gonna make a football movie with The Rock in it, he better be tackling somebody.

I thought it was good. It was based on a true story - unlike The Longest Yard - and was well-made. Dwayne Johnson shows he can act and the part was perfect for him.

Sure this is like Rudy, or Hoosiers, or Take the Lead, but the thing is: do the characters grab you; does it have an intriguing storyline;; etc.? If those elements are there, it does not matter how many times the story, or a similar story, has been told; it's stilll a good, engaging story.

If you don't like this sort of film, don't watch it. Go see something more to your taste.
