Synopsis from DVD Cover:
Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan
Sacha Baron Cohen, the star and creator of HBO's wildly popular Da Ali G Show, brings his truly original Kazakh character Borat Sagdiyev to the big screen for the first time. With a camera crew in tow and armed with a jar of gypsy tears "for protection," Kazakhstan's fourth most famous celebrity travels to the US and A to make a documentary. As he zigzags across the country, loveable Borat meets real people in real situations - with hilarious consequences - in this "fall-on-your-face, pee-in-your-pants, screaming riot!" (Philadelphia Weekly)
The movie that had everyone in stitches is finally here on DVD. Get on the ice cream truck with Borat as he takes you across America to interview people that have too much to say. On the way, Borat runs into ridiculous situations and then caps it off with a finale that will have you in tears.
The film is basically different clips of Borat frustrating people, tied together by a simple story of meeting Pamela Anderson. The lovable fool does everything from washing his face in the toilet to participating in an all-out nude fight with his chubby pal. The film is rude and obscene and delivers on all that the marketing campaign promised. After the movie is over, you will likely go through the extras hoping for more material, and you're in luck, since the DVD contains loads of deleted scenes that are just as funny as the stuff in the actual movie. In addition, there is a hilarious 'Global PR Tour' and a 'Music Infomercial.' For anyone that has seen the film in theaters should still go out to get the DVD, otherwise you might miss out on all the other outrageous material that was cut out.
This DVD is a must buy, since not only will you watch this comedy over and over again, but the extras are more than just some cheesy scenes shot from a different angle. The movie is rated 'R' so be careful with the little ones, since they are probably itching to check it out themselves.
